2011-03-08 13:01
ISSCC is the flagship conference of the Solid-State Circuits Society and is the premier forum for presenting advances in solid-state circuits and systems-on-a-chip.

The 2011 IEEE International Solid-State Circuits Conference was held on February 20-24, 2011, in the San Francisco, CA.

The International Solid State Circuits Conference boasts advanced circuit design developments from around the globe and PHYCHIPS produly annouces that our paper was presented.

Session 26 –

26.2 An Isolator-less CMOS RF Front-End for UHF Mobile RFID Reader, KAIST; PHYCHIPS

* Better Rx sensitivity and dynamic range than conventional isolator or directional coupler based solutions
* Much better Tx power efficiency and ACPR

This solution helps to reduce the number of components, die area, and power consumption obviously while maintaining transmission/reception perofmance.
It is assumed that this technology will contribute to the spreading of mobile RFID readers such as mobile phones and RFID readers with mobile components in near future.
